Foo Fighters Announce Benefit Concert for Los Angeles Homeless

The Foo Fighters are set to host a benefit concert on January 14, 2026, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. This one-night event aims to raise funds and collect essential goods for two partner organizations, Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission, which provide critical services to unhoused and food-insecure residents throughout Los Angeles.

The concert will coincide with Dave Grohl‘s 57th birthday, marking the band’s return to the Forum. Proceeds will support emergency housing, meal programs, and outreach initiatives by the two nonprofits. Grohl expressed his excitement for the event, stating, “What better way to spend my 57th birthday than making a bunch of noise with a bunch of friends for a good cause.”

Ticket Presale and Donation Drive

An in-person presale will be held at the Forum on December 7, 2025. This presale will also serve as a donation drive, where fans can gain early access to tickets by bringing requested items for Hope the Mission. Items needed include new, packaged socks and underwear for all ages and genders, as well as bagged dried pinto beans, rice, and dry pasta, such as spaghetti or macaroni. Notably, canned goods and perishable items will not be accepted.

Details regarding the general sale of tickets are expected to be announced after the presale event. Fans can stay updated through the band’s social media channels, including their Instagram page.

Impact of the Concert

Both Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission highlighted the significance of this collaboration. According to Dennis Oleesky, CEO of Los Angeles Mission, “Every ticket purchased, and every donation will directly help feed and house our unhoused neighbors.” Rowan Vansleve, president of Hope the Mission, praised the Foo Fighters for exemplifying community support and engagement.

This concert represents a crucial opportunity to assist thousands of individuals facing homelessness in Los Angeles. With a strong showing of community spirit, the event promises to be both entertaining and impactful, aligning music with meaningful action.
