Nominations Open for 2026 Private Equity and M&A Visionaries

LA Times Studios has announced the opening of nominations for the 2026 Private Equity and M&A Industry Visionaries. This initiative aims to honor influential leaders within the life sciences sector, particularly those excelling in biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Professionals and organizations providing funding, strategic guidance, or advisory services to companies involved in mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions are encouraged to submit nominations.

The nomination process is designed for private equity and venture capital investors, bankers, lenders, and professional services advisors—including lawyers, accountants, and business managers—who focus on private equity and M&A sectors. Candidates must be based in California, and a maximum of three individuals from the same firm may be nominated.

Criteria for Selection

The selection of honorees will be conducted by the executive committee at LA Times Studios. Nominees will be evaluated on several criteria, including:

1. Noteworthy successes and accomplishments in the past 12 to 24 months.
2. A consistent demonstration of strong leadership throughout their careers.
3. The long- and short-term impacts they have made on their organizations and the industry at large.
4. Community involvement and board memberships that reflect leadership beyond their immediate work environment.

The selected visionaries will be featured in the August 2026 edition of the Business by LA Times Studios magazine, which will be distributed alongside the Los Angeles Times newspaper.

Submission Guidelines

There is no fee to nominate individuals for this recognition. However, due to space limitations in the publication, only three individuals per company will be profiled. All submissions must be made by individuals working in California to comply with the eligibility criteria.

Interested parties can reach out to Karren Adamyan at 347-8673 or via email at [email protected] for assistance with the nomination process. Early submissions are highly encouraged, as LA Times Studios staff will not make corrections or revisions to the nomination once it is submitted.

It is important to ensure that the information provided is accurate and not confidential, as it may be subject to editing by the LA Times Studios team prior to publication. Individuals selected for recognition can expect to be notified approximately 45 days before the publication date.

This initiative highlights the significant contributions of leaders in the private equity and M&A sectors and aims to inspire future generations within the industry. For those interested in nominating a candidate, please use the nomination form provided by LA Times Studios.
