Beloved Coopersburg Doctor Patricia Huber Passes Away at 77

BREAKING NEWS: Patricia “Pat” Anne Huber, aged 77, of Coopersburg, has passed away on December 7, 2025, at St. Luke’s Fountain Hill. Her family and friends are mourning the loss of a remarkable woman known for her dedication and compassion.

Pat was a trailblazing physician, graduating from the University of Rochester before earning her M.D. at the University of Texas at Galveston. She completed her residency through the University of Pennsylvania, establishing a career that touched countless lives through her intelligence and care.

Her husband, Dr. Steve Sisson, shared a loving partnership with Pat for 35 years. Together, they cultivated a life filled with warmth, laughter, and shared passions. Pat was not just a devoted wife but also a loving mother to her daughter Dana Sisson, who was both her child and her best friend.

Pat’s interests extended beyond medicine. She was an avid cook, often bringing family and friends together around her table. Gardening and floral arranging were also among her passions, reflecting her deep appreciation for nature’s beauty. Her love for reading was evident, as she could frequently be seen with a book in hand.

Her compassionate heart included a profound love for animals, with her cats, Toby and Russo, providing constant companionship and comfort. Pat was a pillar in her community, actively participating at Trinity Episcopal Church, where her faith fostered enduring friendships and a sense of belonging.

Pat is survived by her husband, daughter, and nephew Jeff Huber. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Rick and Ed Huber.

Calling hours are scheduled for December 28, 2025, from 1-2 p.m. at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, located at 150 Elm St, Emmaus, PA 18049. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m., officiated by Mother Laura Howell.
