Rose Parade 2026 to Livestream on Eight Platforms, Starting Jan. 1

URGENT UPDATE: The Tournament of Roses has just confirmed that the 2026 Rose Parade will be livestreamed on eight platforms, expanding access to viewers worldwide. This annual New Year’s Day celebration will officially kick off on January 1, 2026, at 8 a.m. PST, marking the third consecutive year the parade will be available for streaming.

Officials are excited about this move, emphasizing the importance of digital access in an era where audiences are increasingly mobile. “The Rose Parade has always been about welcoming the world to Pasadena,” said David Eads, CEO and Executive Director of the Tournament of Roses. “Our livestream truly allows us to expand that tradition, giving fans everywhere a front row seat to America’s New Year’s celebration.”

Viewers can catch the parade on popular platforms including Christmas Plus, Dooya, FanDuel Sports Network, Fubo, GFam+, Great American Pure Flix, Pluto TV, and Samsung TV Plus. The event will also be available on the Tournament of Roses’ YouTube channel.

In 2024, the inaugural livestream attracted about 25,000 viewers, and that number skyrocketed to over 1.15 million in 2025. With organizers expecting between 850,000 and 1 million attendees in person along Colorado Boulevard, the livestream aims to connect even more people globally. In total, the parade’s traditional television broadcast is projected to reach over 30 million viewers.

The livestream will feature all 86 units of the parade, offering viewers an uninterrupted view of the iconic 5.5-mile route. Eads noted that as younger audiences shift away from conventional broadcasts, it’s critical to adapt. “We recognized several years ago that we needed to move onto streaming platforms to ensure that the parade was available in the form and fashion that people wanted to watch,” he stated.

Hosting the 2026 livestream will be a dynamic trio: Darren Haynes, a 13-time Emmy award-winning sports anchor; Pressley Hosbach, a rising star in music and acting; and Loni Love, an Emmy-winning comedian known for her warmth and humor. Their combined presence is expected to enhance viewer engagement and excitement surrounding the event.

This year’s livestream aims to surpass previous viewership records, continuing the Tournament of Roses’ mission to reach new audiences. “We stream across multiple platforms, but our goal is to eventually grow the viewership on a major streaming platform next, like Apple TV or Amazon Prime,” Eads added.

As anticipation builds for the 137th Rose Parade, officials encourage everyone to tune in, whether in person or through their favorite streaming service. The parade promises to be a spectacular celebration, showcasing dazzling floats, marching bands, and equestrian units.

For those eager to watch, the livestream will remain available until January 14 on most platforms, and for up to a year on select services. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to experience the magic of the Rose Parade wherever you are!
