Rochester Regional Health Relocates Lab Registration Temporarily

Rochester Regional Health has announced a temporary relocation of its laboratory and medical imaging registration office within the EJ Noble Building in Canton, effective January 30, 2024. The registration office will move from the main floor to the lower level, which can be accessed via the rear entrance of the building. While this change affects the registration office, both medical imaging and laboratory services will continue to operate in their current locations.

Details on Relocation and Access

To ensure a smooth transition for patients, registration services will remain available on the main floor for a limited time during the move. Rochester Regional Health has implemented measures to assist patients and their families, including the presence of team members and wayfinding signage throughout the facility. These efforts aim to minimize any disruption caused by the relocation.

The temporary move is part of ongoing facility upgrades within the EJ Noble Building. Officials have not yet established a timeline for when registration services will return to the main floor, but updates will be communicated as they become available.

For patients arriving at the parking lot located at 80 East Main Street, the first right turn will lead around the right side of the building to the new entrance for registration. Both imaging and laboratory services, along with their registration, will be accessible through this same entrance.

Rochester Regional Health encourages those needing imaging or laboratory services to follow the new guidelines to ensure a seamless experience during this transition period. Further information will be shared as it becomes available, allowing for continued support for patients in the St. Lawrence Region.
