U.S. Marshals Capture Hawaii Child Rape Fugitive in Worcester

UPDATE: A woman wanted for child rape in Hawaii has been arrested in Worcester, Massachusetts. Coleen Kuamo`o, 43, also known as Malama Kuamo`o, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals as part of a nationwide fugitive investigation.
Authorities confirm that Kuamo`o is wanted on serious charges, including one count of sexual assault in the first degree, three counts of sexual assault in the third degree, and one count of using a computer in the commission of a crime. These charges stem from an alleged assault on a child in Wailuku, Hawaii.
Acting U.S. Marshal for Massachusetts, Kevin Neal, issued a stern warning: “Anyone who thinks they can flee across the country to avoid facing justice is mistaken.” He emphasized that the U.S. Marshals Service is dedicated to ensuring that fugitives are apprehended, regardless of where they attempt to hide.
The operation to locate Kuamo`o began when the Maui Police Department contacted Massachusetts authorities, believing she was evading capture in the Bay State. U.S. Marshals tracked her down on Thursday, confirming their commitment to justice.
In related news, the Boston Police Department reported a busy weekend from 10 a.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday, responding to 299 incidents. Among these were two robberies, six aggravated assaults, five thefts from vehicles, and two stolen cars, highlighting ongoing public safety concerns in the city.
The following individuals were arrested during this period, all presumed innocent until proven guilty:
– Shaneya Hollins, operating a vehicle in violation of license class.
– Devin Hines, possession of a burglarious instrument.
– Daniel Rosario, drinking alcohol in public.
– Tomongo Bey, external warrant arrest.
– Dayquan Hardy, larceny under $250.
– Kerri Dunbar, external warrant arrest.
– Dominique Hines, felony possession of a firearm.
– Luis Abreu-Shanlatte, shoplifting over $100 by concealing.
– Terrell Harris, shoplifting by concealing.
– Chamelea Miller, shoplifting by asportation.
– Alex McGee, trespassing.
– Stanley Winn, trespassing.
– Jailson Gomescarvalho, operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
– Jailene Rentas, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
As authorities continue their efforts to combat crime, the capture of Kuamo`o marks a significant achievement in the fight against child exploitation. The community is reminded to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to law enforcement.
