Bryan Carpentier, 81, Remembered for Service and Community Impact

BREAKING: Bryan Edward Carpentier, aged 81, of Iron River, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. His death marks a profound loss for those who knew him, as he was a beacon of creativity, wit, and generosity in his community.

Carpentier was not only a devoted father and grandfather but also a veteran who dedicated over 26 years to serving his country in the Air Force and the 148th Fighter Wing Minnesota Air National Guard. His commitment to service extended beyond the military, significantly impacting his local community through extensive involvement in his church, local schools, and various civic organizations.

His family, which includes his girlfriend Margie and children Robert (Jenny), David (Susan), and Wendy (Jeff), as well as seven grandchildren, shared that Bryan’s gentle demeanor and humble nature touched countless lives. His family was his world, and he was known for actively coaching and supporting their activities, demonstrating a deep commitment to family values.

Carpentier’s community service was exemplary. He was an active member of the Trinity Free Masonic Lodge #282 for over 54 years and made significant contributions to Shriners International. One of his proudest achievements was his long-standing volunteer work at the Bentleyville City of Duluth Holiday Lights Display, where he served on the Electrical, Santa, and Marketing teams for over 17 years.
