Join NICA for a Morning of Yoga and Community Connection

Residents of Fort Worth are invited to participate in a community wellness event hosted by the Northside Intergenerational Community Alliance (NICA) on November 1, 2025. The event promises a morning of connection, health, and mindfulness, featuring a bilingual outdoor yoga session led by Gabriel Miers, a notable figure associated with NICA.

The morning will kick off at 8:00 AM with check-in and a warm welcome. Participants will then engage in a community yoga session from 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM, which caters to all levels of experience. Miers will provide instruction in both English and Spanish, making the activity accessible to a diverse audience.

Following the yoga practice, attendees can enjoy a healthy breakfast in the community room. This will provide an opportunity for neighbors to connect, share experiences, and learn more about NICA and its initiatives. The breakfast will be available from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and will include snacks and smoothies aimed at promoting wellness.

For those interested in attending, tickets can be purchased for $25 until September 30. After this date, the price will increase to $30. This early bird pricing encourages community members to secure their spots in advance.

This event aligns with NICA’s mission to foster community relationships and promote healthy living among residents. The combination of yoga and communal dining aims to create an environment where participants can relax, unwind, and engage with their neighbors.

The location for the event is 1600 Circle Park Blvd, Fort Worth, TX. This central venue is easily accessible, making it convenient for locals to participate in this enriching experience.

NICA encourages all community members, regardless of their yoga proficiency, to join in the morning of fitness and fellowship. The initiative reflects a growing trend towards holistic health and community support, emphasizing the importance of mental and physical wellness in nurturing strong neighborhoods.
