UPDATE: Guam’s vibrant weekend kicks off with the 2025 Triple J Bubble Color Run, starting this Saturday, September 30, 2025. This family-friendly event promises a colorful experience with a 5K/10K race that will delight participants of all ages.
The fun begins at 5:15 a.m. at the Triple J Showroom in Upper Tumon, with the race itself commencing at 6 a.m.. Registration is currently at $15 for the 5K ($20 on race day) and $20 for the 10K ($25 on race day). A group of four can register for just $50. Proceeds from this spirited event will benefit local organizations including Guam Cancer Care, Bake Their Day, and Safe Haven Pregnancy Center, vital resources for families in need.

On Sunday, October 1, 2025, the excitement continues with the 4th Annual Veterans 5K Run and Walk, organized by HMI. This event aims to empower veterans to secure the benefits they have earned and foster a supportive community. Participants can gather at CHamoru Village in Hagåtña at 4 p.m., with the race starting at 5 p.m.. The first 200 finishers will receive commemorative shirts. Additionally, mark your calendars for the 3rd Annual Veterans Gala on November 15, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort Grand Ballroom. The evening will begin with cocktails at 5 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to dress in island formal attire. Businesses can support their veteran employees by sponsoring their attendance or becoming formal event sponsors, with options starting at $250 for Bronze sponsorship.
