Louis Vuitton Launches Urgent 2025 Holiday Campaign Celebrating Light

UPDATE: Louis Vuitton has just announced its stunning 2025 holiday campaign, titled ‘Le Voyage des Lumières’, designed to mesmerize audiences worldwide. This campaign, which celebrates light and travel, features a captivating film directed by Jonas Lindstroem, known for his minimalist storytelling.

The holiday film follows a monogrammed lantern’s journey from Vuitton’s workshops near Paris to a breathtaking snow-covered landscape, where it floats gracefully in the night sky, surrounded by the northern lights. Viewers witness scenes of joy—people playing backgammon and dancing around a campfire, alongside a Music Trunk equipped with a record turntable, as a couple reflects on a frozen lake. The heartwarming journey culminates with a breathtaking display of lanterns illuminating the Paris skyline, as a mother and child gaze from the historic Pont Neuf bridge.

This launch comes at a poignant time, coinciding with the traditional lantern festival, Yi Peng, held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where thousands gather to release floating rice paper lanterns into the sky as offerings to Buddha. This cultural connection amplifies the emotional resonance of Vuitton’s campaign.

The campaign also showcases iconic handbag styles, including the beloved My Capucines and Speedy P9, as well as the Monogram canvas Side Trunk and Christopher backpack. A series of festive pop-up locations have opened, beginning on November 1 and running for 15 days. Another pop-up will launch at the TRX mall in Kuala Lumpur from November 27 until January 4, followed by a third location at the Westfield shopping center in Sydney from November 18 through the end of December.

The campaign imagery will soon inspire eye-catching window displays globally, featuring a midnight-blue backdrop adorned with Chinese lanterns, trunks, and floral motifs from the Monogram canvas—a visual feast that aims to captivate shoppers and ignite holiday spirit.

As the holiday season approaches, this campaign not only highlights Louis Vuitton’s commitment to artistry and culture but also seeks to resonate with the emotional connections people share during this time of year.

Stay tuned for more updates on this enchanting campaign and its impact on the holiday shopping experience.
