Comedy recording artist Weird Al Yankovic will return to the stage in 2026, bringing his much-anticipated ‘Bigger & Weirder Tour’ to Baton Rouge on September 23, 2026. The performance will take place at the Raising Cane’s River Center Arena, with tickets set to go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
During the tour’s 2025 run, Yankovic entertained over 500,000 fans across 75 shows in 67 cities, achieving sell-out performances at renowned venues such as Madison Square Garden, The Kia Forum, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. According to a news release, “Now, Weird Al is ready to go even bigger in 2026, hitting a massive 90 cities across North America.”
Yankovic’s concert will showcase a mix of his celebrated hits and deep-cut fan favorites. Attendees can expect an extravagant show featuring a giant video wall, multiple costume changes, and an eight-piece ensemble that includes his original band. The artist expressed enthusiasm about continuing his tour, stating, “We did 75 shows this year, and the fans weren’t sick of us yet, so we’re just going to keep on touring until they are!”
The North American tour is scheduled to kick off on May 26, 2026, at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and is set to conclude on October 17, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
As a pop culture icon since the 1980s, Weird Al is famous for his parodies of chart-topping songs by artists spanning four decades, including Madonna and Taylor Swift. His notable tracks include “Amish Paradise,” “Eat It,” “Like a Surgeon,” “Smells Like Nirvana,” “Word Crimes,” and the platinum-selling “White & Nerdy.” Over his illustrious career, he has been awarded five Grammy Awards and has received 17 nominations.
