The Days Inn by Wyndham, located at 551 State Road 44 in Wildwood, was acquired by Gunatit Hospitality LLC from Villages Hospitality LLC on January 20, 2023. The Days Inn property spans 3.519 acres and features a hotel structure built in 1966. It is strategically positioned near the intersection of State Road 44 and Interstate 75, just southeast of the Pilot Travel Center. Such a location offers convenient access for travelers and local clientele, enhancing the property’s value.
Corporate records indicate that Gunatit Hospitality is owned by eight members of the Patel family, who are based in Wesley Chapel. This family-owned entity is expected to bring a personal touch to the management of the hotel, potentially improving customer experience and operational efficiency.

Additionally, in late December, Inter Continental Real Estate Development purchased a property along County Road 470 for $12.4 million.
