Triskelion Arts has announced its Spring 2026 Season, featuring an innovative lineup of premieres, resident artist showcases, and returning programs at its performance space in Greenpoint, New York. Running from March 12 to June 13, 2026, the season will highlight a diverse mix of interdisciplinary dance, physical theater, and performances rooted in nightlife culture.
The opening performance, scheduled for March 12-14, is titled Dog God//Germ Angels, created by resident artist Valentina Baché. This evening-length work explores themes of rhythm, endurance, and collective force, presenting a physically charged ritual that delves into cycles of rage, care, and transformation through relentless movement and sound.
On March 27 and 28, Triskelion Arts will host the sixth edition of SYNTHESIS, guest curated by nightlife performer and producer Miz Jade. This theatrical variety show celebrates queer nightlife artists across drag, burlesque, music, and performance, providing enhanced production support in a theater setting. The lineup includes performances by artists such as Bertha Vanayshun, Blue, Bob Voyage, Cunning Stunt, Sherry Poppins, Shia Ho, and Miz Jade.
Following this, from April 9-11, Verbal Animal will present STAR SPANGLED MANOR, the Spring Production Resident Artist piece. This interdisciplinary dance-theater work, developed during an intensive residency, interrogates the mythology of the American Dream through movement, sound, and design. Presented through a queer perspective, the performance addresses issues of surveillance, rave culture, and power structures, revealing how societal systems can fracture under pressure while envisioning new collective futures.
From April 30 to May 2, Dorchel Haqq will premiere the underscore, an immersive physical theater piece set within a domestic space. This work examines themes of joy, grief, faith, and systemic oppression, drawing on concepts of Black fragility, Afropessimism, and Afrofuturism as interpreted through media and memory.
On May 7-9, the Jamal Jackson Dance Company will present Adultification, which explores the racial bias that leads to the perception of Black children as older and less innocent than their peers. The performance juxtaposes the innocence of childhood with the burdens of forced adulthood, employing both contemporary and African-influenced movement.
The season will also feature SPLIT BILL #48 from May 28-30, showcasing new works by emerging artists Elinor Kleber Diggs and Kimie Parker. Diggs’ piece, Crimson, examines the tension between sincerity and artifice, while Parker’s performance, meet me in the lake, my swan, explores themes of displacement, sisterhood, and dual Japanese-American identity through folkloric imagery.
The season will culminate with in essence by Ke’ron J. Wilson, Triskelion’s 2026 Artist-in-Residence, from June 11-13. This ritual performance centers on trans embodiment and spiritual reclamation, integrating movement, spoken word, an original score, and live projection to create a ceremonial space of witnessing and care.
All performances will take place at Triskelion Arts, located at 106 Calyer St. in Greenpoint. Tickets are available online, with tiered pricing ranging from $17 to $50. The lineup promises to engage audiences with bold artistic expressions and a commitment to supporting local talent.
