Coaching excellence was also recognized, with Jennifer Collins of South Plantation and Greg Mason of Coral Springs Charter being named Co-Coaches of the Year. Collins led her team to a district championship, finishing fifth at the state team qualifier and reaching the third round of the baker tournament. She expressed pride in her team, stating, “I am extremely proud of the girls this season. The girls’ season has been especially bittersweet. Five of the seven began as freshmen, with another joining as a sophomore, and I’ve had the privilege of watching them grow. Watching them mature into strong, responsible young women has been one of the greatest joys of my coaching career.”

Mason, whose team won the BCAA championship and the district title, noted, “I am proud of how hard the girls worked to accomplish their way to states.”

This season’s achievements reflect not only individual talent but also the strength of teamwork and coaching within Broward County’s girls bowling community. The recognition of these athletes and their coaches highlights a successful year in high school bowling and sets a high bar for future seasons.
