UPDATE: The Ars Choralis chorus has just announced its highly anticipated holiday concert schedule, set to captivate audiences in Kingston, New York. Concerts will take place on December 6, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Holy Cross/Santa Cruz Episcopal Church and on December 7, 2025, at 4 p.m. at Overlook United Methodist Church in Woodstock. This year’s theme is “Holiday Sampler,” blending cherished American colonial holiday music with revered sacred Christmas tunes from Europe.
The concerts will feature the talented Hudson Valley Youth Brass Ensemble, under the direction of Harvey Boyer. This performance marks the kickoff of Ars Choralis’ 2025–26 season, which celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The season aims to honor the diverse cultures that shape America today.
Tickets are priced at $30 at the door, $25 in advance, and just $10 for students, making this an accessible holiday event for all.
In addition to these concerts, Ars Choralis will present a free New Year’s Eve concert titled “A Quilt of Courage” on December 31, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Old Dutch Church, located at 262 Wall St. This concert, in partnership with the city of Kingston and the church, will honor local heroes who have significantly impacted history and life in the Hudson Valley. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash donations, which will benefit People’s Place of Kingston.
