CIF-SS Playoffs: 13 High Desert Teams Advance; Key Scores Revealed

UPDATE: The CIF-Southern Section playoffs kicked off on February 12, 2023, and the High Desert showcases a strong performance with 13 teams advancing to the second round. This includes 6 girls basketball and 5 girls soccer teams, all vying for championship glory this Saturday.

In the girls basketball division, Mira Costa eliminated Oak Hills with a tight score of 45-39. Despite an explosive start, the Bulldogs faltered in the second quarter, scoring only two points and ending their season early. Star player Bella Rincon led the way for Mira Costa with 21 points. They will face Valencia, who defeated Chino 76-44.
