BREAKING: Epiphone has just unveiled two highly anticipated signature guitars, the Masterbilt Gem Archer Sheraton and the Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs Riviera, set to electrify audiences during the 2025 Oasis tour. Fans are eager to see these iconic instruments in action, as both musicians prepare for their return to the stage.
The Masterbilt Gem Archer Sheraton is inspired by Gem Archer’s long-time use of the Sheraton guitar, a model first introduced in 1958. Archer states, “When I started playing with Noel Gallagher in 2017, this was the guitar I asked if he still had. It’s got a ring and a clang to it, with loads of definition and clarity.” The stunning semi-hollowbody guitar features a five-ply layered maple/poplar construction and a maple centerblock, enhancing sustain and feedback resistance.
Meanwhile, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs expressed his excitement about the new Riviera, stating, “I’m still playing my original 1984 guitar on the Oasis 2025 tour, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.” He reminisced about the instrument’s journey from early rehearsals at the Boardwalk in Manchester to historic performances at Knebworth. The new Riviera aims to captivate both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
Both models showcase exceptional craftsmanship, with the Masterbilt Gem Archer Sheraton featuring a one-piece mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, and USA-made Gibson Mini Humbucker pickups. With only 100 units of the Riviera available worldwide, collectors and fans are eager to get their hands on these limited-edition guitars.
Lee Bartram, Head of Commercial and Marketing EMEA at Gibson, commented on the significance of these releases in 2025, “This year is turning out to be quite the year for live music, and we’re thrilled to play a small part in paying tribute to one of the greatest reunions of the 21st century!”
The guitars will be available in both left and right-handed versions and come with an Epiphone hardshell case to ensure protection during travel. Whether you are a musician or a fan, the launch of these signature guitars marks an exciting moment in music history.
As the countdown to the Oasis Live 2025 tour begins, fans are buzzing with anticipation. Don’t miss out on the chance to see these iconic guitars in action and experience the electrifying energy of Gem Archer and Paul Arthurs live on stage. Stay tuned for more updates on their tour schedule and guitar availability.
