UPDATE: A dramatic high-speed chase in Fairfield has resulted in the arrest of Aaron Cutchon, who faces multiple serious charges including assault with a deadly weapon and drug-influenced driving. The incident unfolded around 12:03 PM today, shocking residents and prompting an immediate police response.

Authorities report that the chase began when Fairfield Police attempted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Travis Boulevard. Cutchon resisted arrest, striking an occupied patrol car with his vehicle before fleeing the scene. His reckless escape led to three separate hit-and-run accidents, with one resulting in injuries.

As the pursuit intensified, Cutchon lost control of his vehicle, ultimately rolling it. In a desperate bid to evade capture, he fled on foot into a nearby business on Oliver Road. Quick-thinking officers, however, spotted him attempting to hide and swiftly coordinated an arrest.

Cutchon is now facing a range of charges, including felony resisting arrest, felony evading, and giving false identification to authorities. He was booked into the County Jail following the incident.
