Five-Car Crash in Clearfield Hospitalizes Two; Traffic Disrupted

URGENT UPDATE: Two individuals have been hospitalized with minor injuries following a significant five-car crash in Clearfield, Utah. The incident, which occurred earlier today, has caused major traffic disruptions in the area.
According to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Mike Alexander, the crash was triggered when the rear-most driver, distracted and failing to pay attention, rear-ended the vehicle in front of them. This unfortunate collision led to the hospitalization of two people, though their injuries are reported as minor.
The crash blocked four out of five lanes, creating significant delays for commuters. Authorities confirmed that, by 3:30 p.m., only the on/off lane from 700 South to Antelope Drive remained obstructed, allowing some traffic to resume. As authorities investigate the cause, updates will be released. Stay tuned for more developments on this breaking story.
