BREAKING NEWS: Francis J. Zabierek, known affectionately as Frank, has passed away at the age of 68 in Nashua, NH, leaving behind a legacy of community service and faith. He succumbed to illness and is now at peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Born in Lowell, MA, Frank was the son of the late Thaddeus A. Zabierek and Mary L. (Molda) Zabierek. After graduating from the Dracut public school system, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he served honorably for four years. Frank later graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and dedicated his career to public service, working for several government agencies, including the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement in 2019 after 37 years.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Frank was deeply committed to his Christian faith. He shared his beliefs through community outreach, online platforms, and his local access TV show, “Frankly Speaking.” He often quoted 2 Timothy 4:7, embracing the motto “Fighting the Good Fight of Faith” as a guiding principle in his life.

Frank was also recognized for his dedication to helping others, having made an impressive 136 lifetime blood donations to the American Red Cross, earning the prestigious “17 Gallon pin” in 2023. His vibrant personality shone through his memberships at the Dom Polski Club and the Polish-American Veterans of Lowell.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on MONDAY, October 27, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Rochette Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A service will follow at 5:30 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the New Hampshire Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.

Frank leaves behind two beloved sons, Jonathan J. Zabierek, and his wife Elyse, and Benjamin R. Zabierek, all residing in Worcester, MA, along with his sister, Mary L. Zabierek of Dracut. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Merrimack Valley Baptist Church at 517 Boston Post Road, Merrimack, NH 03054.

As the community mourns the loss of a beloved figure, fond memories of Frank and his unwavering spirit will continue to inspire those he touched. His commitment to faith, family, and service will not be forgotten.
