URGENT UPDATE: The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is actively seeking the public’s assistance to identify two suspects linked to a violent carjacking and armed robbery that occurred late on September 2 in Midtown. The incident took place on the 1100 block of Westheimer, where one suspect brandished a handgun and forcibly stole the victim’s vehicle.

Authorities report that the stolen car was discovered abandoned the following day on the 1400 block of Hawthorne. This alarming crime has been assigned the Houston PD reference number 1152686-25, emphasizing the ongoing urgency of the investigation.

Police describe the first suspect as a Black male, aged between 50-55 years old, approximately 5’7″ tall, weighing between 150-160 pounds. He may be known by the names “Charles” or “UNC.” The second suspect is also a Black male, but no further details have been released about him.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for tips that result in charges or arrests.
