Man Caught with Stolen Gun During Shootout in Enfield, NC

UPDATE: A dramatic police chase unfolded in Enfield, North Carolina, on Saturday night as officers apprehended a man armed with a stolen gun during an active shootout. The incident, which rattled the community, occurred around 9:25 p.m. at the Big Moes #2 gas station located at 115 N McDaniel St.
Enfield Police Chief Jerry Shoemaker and his team were patrolling the North McDaniel Street area when they heard gunfire erupt. The officers quickly responded, witnessing a man fleeing from a white vehicle riddled with bullet holes, signaling a dangerous and volatile scene.
