Witnesses reported a loud crash that shook homes in the vicinity. Local resident Megan Avery described the moment as terrifying, recalling, “It shook my house,” as she rushed outside to find the truck precariously positioned just feet from her door. Fortunately, her vehicle escaped damage.
The truck came to rest on its passenger side, exposing its 18 wheels to the rainy evening. Emergency responders reported that the vehicle was not carrying hazardous materials but confirmed it was transporting a large load of candy, including Maestro Massimo boxes. Crews worked swiftly to remove the cargo before attempting to upright the trailer.
