Two Men Slashed in Queens Attack, Police Launch Manhunt

BREAKING: Two men were viciously slashed by knife-wielding attackers in Queens early this morning. The shocking incident occurred just after 4:08 a.m. on December 7, along Barnett Avenue and 48th Street in Sunnyside, according to police.

Law enforcement sources report that the victims, aged 27 and 25, were targeted while attempting to retrieve a two-wheeled device when they were assaulted. Officers from the 108th Precinct swiftly responded to a 911 call, arriving at the scene to find the older victim with a slash wound to the face and the younger man with a serious injury to the neck.

Emergency Medical Services transported the 27-year-old to Elmhurst Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition. The 25-year-old refused medical assistance at the scene, police confirmed.

In a concerning trend, felony assaults in the 108th Precinct have surged by 11.6% through the end of November, with 278 incidents reported this year compared to 249 last year. Overall crime in the area has increased by 2.08%.
