BREAKING: Two men were viciously slashed by knife-wielding attackers in Queens early this morning. The shocking incident occurred just after 4:08 a.m. on December 7, along Barnett Avenue and 48th Street in Sunnyside, according to police.
Law enforcement sources report that the victims, aged 27 and 25, were targeted while attempting to retrieve a two-wheeled device when they were assaulted. Officers from the 108th Precinct swiftly responded to a 911 call, arriving at the scene to find the older victim with a slash wound to the face and the younger man with a serious injury to the neck.
Emergency Medical Services transported the 27-year-old to Elmhurst Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition. The 25-year-old refused medical assistance at the scene, police confirmed.
A knife was recovered by authorities, who are now actively seeking the two suspects believed to be responsible for this brutal attack. As of now, no arrests have been made, and police have not released descriptions of the suspects.
