Germany Calls Back Ambassador from Georgia Amid Rising Tensions

Germany has decided to temporarily recall its ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, for consultations, following tensions between the two nations. The announcement was made by the German Foreign Office on Sunday, highlighting concerns over the Georgian leadership’s actions that appear to undermine relations with the European Union and target Fischer personally.

The Foreign Office’s statement indicated that the decision to withdraw Fischer from Tbilisi was made to assess the situation and determine the next steps.
