Burglars Target Homes of ‘Real Housewives’ Stars in Los Angeles

The homes of two stars from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Kathy Hilton and Sutton Stracke, were burglarized on Saturday, October 14, 2023, while the celebrities were attending BravoCon in Las Vegas. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) confirmed that the incidents occurred on the same day and are currently under investigation.

Hilton’s home was broken into while her husband, Rick Hilton, was present at the residence. A spokesperson for Hilton stated that the break-in was reported to authorities at 11:48 p.m.. Although the LAPD did not disclose Hilton’s name as the homeowner, her representative confirmed the incident, assuring that no one was injured during the burglary.

Sutton Stracke, also attending the Bravo convention, reported that her home was targeted that same day. “The individuals involved entered through a kitchen window and stole all of my luxury handbags, including pieces from Hermes, Chanel, and other designers. They also took my fine jewelry,” Stracke said in a statement.

Both stars have taken immediate action following the incidents. Stracke indicated that she has hired 24-hour security and upgraded her surveillance systems. “I am cooperating fully with authorities as they continue their investigation,” she added.

The LAPD indicated that a burglary report was filed for both homes, but so far, no suspect descriptions have been released. The police are continuing their investigation into the events that unfolded over the weekend.

Stracke’s home invasion comes just months after another cast member, Teddi Mellencamp, experienced a similar incident. Her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, recounted that three intruders breached their property by jumping over the gate and triggering the alarm system. They accessed the home through a side door but fled quickly when confronted.

The recent burglaries have raised concerns among fans and residents in the area, highlighting the vulnerabilities even those in high-profile positions face. As the investigation progresses, both Hilton and Stracke remain focused on ensuring their homes are secure and safe.
