The Nebraska State Patrol (NSP), along with the Kearney County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the scene on Saturday afternoon, where they discovered the tragic situation.
According to officials, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the three children, all under the age of 12, suffered gunshot wounds. However, two of them have since been transferred to Children’s Hospital in Omaha for further care.
